Nanny deported… Effort continues.

August 1st, 2008

Dear Friends,

Our family wanted to let you know our former nanny was deported back to Mexico yesterday Thursday July 31, 2008. Our hearts hurt today with sadness for the injustice that occured to our daughter.

We are however happy that this chapter of our life related to the criminal justice system is now closed. Please continue to support our efforts to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome from occuring to other babies.

After reading the above post I was outraged! Is this the end? veronica stole Hannah’s innocence and life, and all she gets is deported back to Mexico?! This decision has forced me to have no faith in the justice system and how it protects our children. I will pray for strength for your family; and I will wear Hannah’s pin everyday! God bless you!

My heart goes out to you and your family. Please know that you are in the prayers of many. What a beautiful angel to have been taken too soon.
