The court holding the trial in the shaking death of a 19-month-old is now selecting a jury.

Veronica Martinez Salcedo has been accused of killing a Roseville baby in May of 2006. Salcedo is a former nanny who allegedly shook 19-month-old Hannah Rose Juceam to death.

Court is now in pre-trial selection, and will decide if certain evidence can be admitted.

  1. Jenna Wade Says:

The truth WILL come out in this trial. I am not so sure that the babysitter is to blame here. I am sorry for the loss of this baby, but we will have to wait and see what the court finds.

  2. Katie Hale Says:

It is ridiculous that there is doubt cast over if the nanny is at fault. I have seen this couple as a family, as a support structure for others even in their own time of need, and more importantly, and as parents to their son Jordon.
They are wonderful giving people, and not just for the benefit of their cause, but to be there and implement something needed that families and victims of similar circumstances can grasp on to.
